This Privacy Policy explains what data Ofoty collects, how we use it, when it may be shared, and what choices users have.
Last Updated: April 17, 2026
We collect information necessary to operate Ofoty and provide a secure experience. This may include account information such as name, username, email address, and profile details; content you create such as posts, images, and short videos; messages such as text and images sent through supported messaging features; and technical information such as IP address, device information, log data, and usage activity used to maintain platform security, performance, and reliability.
We use collected information to provide, maintain, and improve Ofoty. This includes authenticating users, delivering content feeds, enabling messaging features, processing verification requests, improving content relevance based on activity, preventing spam and abuse, enforcing platform rules, and ensuring security and reliability.
Content shared on Ofoty, including posts, images, short videos, profiles, and messages, may be processed to enforce platform policies and maintain safety. Ofoty maintains a zero-tolerance approach toward child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), objectionable content, and abusive behavior. We provide in-app tools for users to report harmful content, harmful users, and child safety concerns, and to block other users. We may review reports, detect abusive behavior, and take appropriate enforcement actions, including content removal, feature limitation, temporary restriction, account suspension, and reporting to relevant authorities where required by law.
Users may request account verification or a blue tick through supported in-app features. Requests are reviewed through our moderation and safety systems. Providing false data, misleading identity details, impersonation, or policy violations may result in rejection of the request, removal of verification, feature restrictions, account suspension, or permanent ban depending on the severity of the violation.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We may share limited information with trusted service providers, such as infrastructure hosting, storage providers, content delivery networks (CDN), analytics providers, crash reporting providers, and other technical partners, solely to operate, secure, improve, and support the platform. We may also disclose information where required by law or where necessary to protect the safety, rights, and integrity of users and Ofoty.
We retain data only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services, maintain platform safety, prevent abuse, and comply with applicable laws. In cases of severe violations or repeated misuse of platform rules, we may restrict access, hide, or permanently remove content. Some limited data, including records of violations, may be retained even after deletion requests where necessary for fraud prevention, abuse prevention, platform security, investigation, and legal compliance.
You have control over your information on Ofoty. You may access, update, or correct supported profile information, manage or delete your eligible content, and block other users through available features. You may also request account deletion through in-app settings. Where applicable, you may request access to your data or correction of inaccurate information. Certain rights may be limited where necessary for security, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, or legal compliance.
You can request deletion of your account at any time through the app settings. Once requested, your access may be revoked and you may be logged out. To prevent abuse and ensure system integrity, account deletion may be processed after a short retention period. During this time, your profile and content may no longer be visible to other users. We may retain certain limited records, such as violation history and essential technical logs, where necessary for fraud prevention, abuse prevention, security, and legal compliance.
We use industry-standard security practices, including secure authentication and data protection measures, to help safeguard your information. However, no system can be completely secure. Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their accounts. We take reasonable steps to protect data but cannot guarantee absolute security in all circumstances.
Ofoty is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under the age of 13, or the minimum age required by applicable law in the user’s region. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a user below the required age has created an account, we may disable or remove the account and take appropriate steps to delete associated data, subject to legal, security, and compliance obligations.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, practices, or applicable laws. We will update the “Last Updated” date when changes are made and may provide additional notice through the app, website, or other appropriate channels where required. Your continued use of Ofoty after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
If you have any questions, concerns, or requests regarding this Privacy Policy, your personal data, or child safety concerns, please contact us at: ofotysupport@gmail.com.
